A delicious "diet" variation on a summertime favorite ...

Dietetic Open Hamburgers

Mix:
  1. Spread the meat mixture to the very edges of 4 slices whole-wheat bread. (I prefer substituting white bread.)
  2. Broil 3 inches from heat source for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from broiler and spread a little mustard on top of the meat and top with thin slices of tomato.
  4. Broil 2 minutes more.

Makes 4 open sandwiches.
